I have noticed that a lot of people are pretty unhappy with the state of affairs here in the United States and even other countries. We need not look very far to see how upset many people are. We can look in our own states to see union fights, protests and general un-happiness with the system. We can look over-seas and see rebel forces in Libya attempting to take control of their own destinies.

Why is it that we often fight with each other instead of going after the main source of our dismay? We see it all the time, you and I will fight about petty things while our governments sit back and laugh about it. They know that as long as you and I, the citizens fight with each other we will be too busy to see what our governments are really doing. It reminds me of a famous quote which says, "divide and conquer".

You see, the state of this world can only get better when you and I make it better. Our governments would love nothing more than to stay in power and do what they always do. They know that 99% of the population is just too lazy or scared to do anything about them and as long as we continue to be lazy and scared, we will get the exact same deplorable service that the government gives us.

People seem to forget (and so does the government) that we the people, the citizens are the ones who own this country. The government is put in place by you and I and they work for us. Over the years the government has done a very good job of making you think that you work for them and that they are the ones who control this country. This of course is wrong and they know it. They know that the people are the ones who control the country but they don't want you to know that. The moment that everyone wakes up and says no more, the government will be in deep trouble. So they will do whatever they can to keep you fooled so they can continue to destroy our economy, make trillions in taxes off of our backs, and take more freedoms away from us.

So what exactly will it take for people to wake up and understand that we need to take our country back? How many freedoms do we have to lose to be shocked into action? How much more in taxes are you willing to pay before you say no more? What exactly is it that will trigger the patriot in you?

This world is lead by corrupt people who have no reason to care about you and I. They only care about power and money and if they can squeeze you and I, their little slaves, they will squeeze until we can't breathe anymore. Even an idiot would try to escape a large snake that was trying to kill them by squeezing them to death. Why do you allow the government (a corrupt snake) to squeeze you?

Revolution is happening all over the world right now and the most recent is Libya. Our government said that we went to Libya to protect civilians from the Libyan government who is using force to stop the uprising. My question for you is this, if we in the United States were to rise up against our government, do you really think that they would not fire on us? I think I can say with confidence that our government would shoot at us. They would do whatever they had to do to keep us down and keep their hold on power. So remember this if revolution ever happens here. There are lessons to be learned.

Do I believe that revolution will happen here? Not a chance because again, people are lazy or scared and they would never be willing to take a chance at true freedom.

Well my friends, I hope you have better things to do than read blog posts and watch youtube videos. It seems that the government is trying very hard to screw the internet up for you and I.

What is even worse is that the major news agencies are talking about this as if it would be a good thing. They are trying to soften the blow by saying it will help everyone and we (the users) won't even notice any difference. Well just like everything else the government sticks their nose into, we indeed will be screwed in time. This is a major problem and this is an historical change in how we will be able to utilize online content.

Many people will probably say that this isn't that big of a deal, but many more of you probably understand exactly what this will lead to. In the very near future we will be charged money to access the internet. Not only (as now) will we pay for a service provider, we will be charged by how much band width we consume on a daily basis. This will completely destroy the ability for many to get online and use the internet because many people will never be able to afford the charges.

This really should come as no surprise to anyone because most people have known that the government wants to regulate the internet and be in complete control of all of the information we (meaning you and I) can send a receive.

This is just one more example showing how we in the United States are not free. We are not free to do what we want, we are not free to choose what we want, we are slaves to a corrupt state and because none of us will stand up and fight, this corrupt government will continue to tear our remaining freedoms away.

When exactly, or more importantly, what exactly is it going to take for people to wake up and understand that we need to stand up and fight? Why is it that people sit on their hands and say that they can't do anything? Why is it people only complain and then comply anyway?

Maybe half of the problem in this country is the people. The people of this country used to be strong and prideful. Now people in this country are just lazy and scared.

If you are too lazy to stand up and fight, at least let others know about what is happening. If you are willing to stand up and fight, the time has come.

So many people have been talking about the year 2012 and what it will bring us. Thereare even shows on television dedicated to talking about it, not to mention amajor movie about it. So why so much fuss over the year 2012? Why has this yearbeen so interesting that television and movie writers feel the need to talkabout it?

     While I have never been one to believe in Armageddon and prophecy, I have to ask myselfwhy these things are being talked about so much these days. One could say thatpeople have been talking about “the end times” since time began and this istrue, but 2012 seems to hold a much tighter grip on so many people. I havespoken with people from all different walks of life and asked them about 2012and each one of the people I talked to had no problem explaining to me what wassupposed to happen in that year. I was even educated about how not only Mayan’shave predicted what is to happen in the year 2012. It seems that talk of 2012has been seen in the bible and many other books.

     Could 2012 actually be the end of us all? Isit possible that we should be taking things seriously this time? I know frompersonal experience that I have never once taken any of these doomsdayprophecies seriously because people are always coming up with some reason why aspecific date and time will be the end, only to find that they were wrong andthe date and time they predicted passes and we are all still in the same placeas we were before. If we look through history, we can find so many people who havepredicted things like this and each one has failed miserably at getting it right.

     Since people never predict these things correctly, should we just brush off the 2012 prediction as yet another failed attempt to scare the public? I’m not so sure.Scientists seem to agree that December 2012 is going to be a time where strangethings may happen. One of the more scary things is called the “pole shift”which means that our magnetic poles will switch. North will become South andSouth will become North and because of this, we could see worldwide earthquakes,volcanic eruptions and terrible weather patterns. They go on to say that we maybe hit by some kind of solar energy that could easily knock out power,satellites and pretty much everything we use on a daily basis. Sadly this isthe good scenario! The bad scenario is that Earth will just no longer have anylife on it because for some reason, in some way, we are going to be wiped out.I don’t know about you, but I prefer to just not have power and cell phoneservice for awhile instead of the other option.

     So if we are indeed in the “end times” what should we all do? My advice is that we should become nicer people. We all know how cruel this world and the people onit can be. If we are indeed in the final days of civilization as we know it,should we not spend the rest of our time trying to live good lives? It makessense to me and hopefully it makes sense to you as well. Think about all of thethings we do every day. We go to work, come home and cut the grass, take thekids to soccer practice and if we have any time left, we sleep for awhile. Weno longer take the time to smell the roses and understand how important ourtime on Earth is. Now I’m not saying that you should quit your job and stoppaying your bills that would be crazy! But what I am saying is that maybe weshould do a better job of setting a few extra minutes aside each day to “smell the roses” or to spend a few extra minutes with family.

     If we all begin to do these things and the world doesn’t explode into a billion pieces in 2012, we will have built a new way of living. Living in a way where we treateach other with respect and no longer have to put each other down, being kindto each other for the fact that we are all on this spinning ball together. Weare all heading for the same place. Let us hope that 2012 is not real, but just in case, let’s all take a few extra minutes each day to look at the stars andrelax a bit.
